Fallout: Baton Rouge
A disturbing mutation of the American Wild Turkey. Slightly larger then the species they replaced, males being six to eight inches longer and as much as twenty pounds heavier on average. These aggressive scavengers earned their name by the propensity to eat anything they can though they favor decomposing meat.
Unlike Wild Turkeys Gobblers are clumsy fliers few of which can jerkily raise above twenty feet. They have vicious spurs and snoods but the most unique feature of these hideous creatures is their ability to hyper extend their necks almost three feet. When extended thus the neck maintains a flexibility not unlike a tentacle. Gobblers use this anatomical abnormality to reach food, climb or even constrict.
